About the evening
The Sky Movement is a national initiative uniting participants everywhere to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research. Individuals rally family and friends, and businesses build team spirit — creating lifelong memories along the way.
From walking and running to biking, yoga and more, the Movement is designed to be accessible anywhere. This year we introduced an in-person kickoff at LegaSea Aquarium & The Reptarium to celebrate together and foster community among those impacted by cancer. Every step supports early-detection research and life-saving programs.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 through Sky Movement — enough to fund one full research seed grant.
Proceeds fund seed grants — the $50,000 starting awards that let a scientist turn an idea into a project competitive for national funding.
